Verve Gallery shows work at PalmBeach3

There are two new exhibitions of my work coming up. Verve Gallery will be presenting the $100 U.S. Flag at PalmBeach3 Contemporary Art Fair from January 14th through 19th. Also the opening for my show at noted Miami collector, Dr. Arturo Mosquera's "Art@Work" project space will be on January 31 from 7 to 9 p.m. This exhibit will feature my illegal street vendor photographic series as well as a presentation of the Border Cruiser video sculpture on the night of the opening. In the meantime, I am busy applying for upcoming exhibition possibilities and developing new work. I hope this finds you all well.

The holiday season is in high gear as I am spending time with family and friends. The new year will be busy as I am exhibiting work in PalmBeach3 Contemporary Art Fair at Verve Gallery's booth from January 14th through 19th. This past week I met with some art dealers as well as some collectors to show them the new $100 bill editions. I also drove the Border Cruiser back into storage a couple hours away from Miami. This week will be spent with friends and family to celebrate Christmas. So I wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Recuperating from ArtBasel

The majority of the previous week was spent finishing up an exhibition at Deauville Hotel called NoBe67, where I had the Time Machine on exhibit. This show took up the majority of my time last week. Now that it is over, I have been recuperating from the exhausting week of art fairs and exhibitions. This week I will be re-organizing the studio as well as following up contacts that I made during ArtBasel. It will be nice to have be back to a more normal pace.

It has been an exhausting week of long days and late nights looking at art, meeting new people, and lots of walking. I had many friends from New York and Europe in town, and I spent the majority of my time with them while attending the various art fairs and events during ArtBasel. As a result, I did not drive the Border Cruiser as often but when I did take it out on Saturday night, I received an enormous amount of positive feedback. I drove the project around Wynwood for the gallery walk and then parked the car in front of the entrance to the Shore Club in Miami Beach for the P.S. 1 party. When I was threaten that the car would be towed, I cruised up and down Collins Avenue in the stop and go traffic that prevailed into the wee hours of night. Also the opening for NoBe67 was well attended at the Deauville Hotel located at 67th Street and Collins Avenue. The Time Machine was well received and got a lot of interest. If you missed the opening, the closing party will be on Tuesday night, December 9th from 7 to 10 p.m. All are invited to attend.
Now that the excitement of ArtBasel is over, I am going to get some rest before going back to work. If you need to reach me, please send me an e-mail or call.
