On the road and closing of show March 21st
Welcome to StevenGagnon.com, the best way to keep up with all of my artistic activities, news, and upcoming exhibitions.
I have been delinquent with my blog updates the past two weeks because I have been traveling. I was in New York City since the beginning of March. I went to check out the Armory Art Fair as well as the various satellite fairs. In addition, I met up with Burkhard Eikelmann who exhibits my work in Dusseldorf, Germany who also came to the city to see the fairs. After spending eleven days in the Big Apple, I came down to North Carolina to visit family. I plan to be back in Miami early next week. I am looking forward to get back to a warmer climate where the temperature is well above 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
As for upcoming shows, the closing for my exhibition at Dr. Mosquera's Art@Work space is on March 21st. In addition to having my illegal street vendor photographic series on exhibit, the Border Cruiser mobile video installation will also be on display that evening. If you were unable to make the closing of the exhibition, there is still time to see the photos that are up until April 3rd. The office located at 1245 SW 87th Avenue, Miami, FL 33174 is open everyday of the business week except Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. I hope you can make it.
