Brogan Museum exhibition opens this week

Thanks for visiting www.StevenGagnon.com where you can learn more about my artwork, accomplishments, news, and upcoming exhibitions. The blog is updated weekly and is your way to find out what is happening in the studio. This past week I prepared for my trip to New York to work with my printer to create a new print edition that will be made in mid-September and Europe to visit various art fairs and galleries to see what is happening in the international art scene. As for other news, Galerie Stock in Vienna, Austria is showing one of my works in the group exhibition entitled "Candy" that will run through the end of September. The gallery will also be participating at the art.fair in Cologne, Germany in November and would like to feature a number of my pieces for the show. In addition, the Brogan Museum of Art and Science in Tallahassee, Florida will feature 9 of my works in the exhibition "Currency: Art as Money / Money as Art" which opens this Friday, September 8th and runs through November 26th. This week I will be busy creating pieces for the art fair in November as well as taking care of some paperwork that I have been neglecting. Also I have also been receiving much positive feedback from the informational brochure regarding the Untitled Serigraph, ($100 U.S. Flag on Coventry rag paper) that I sent out at the end of June/beginning of July.
