We start by cutting the roof first once a tape line has been established.

Stephen Braun is now cutting at the outside part of side support structure to remove the last bits of steel still holding the Mercedes Benz together.

The Mercedes Benz is finally cut through! Now both cars are in two parts. Eins Werden is about to begin!

We moved the Trabant rear half behind the Mercedes front half to get a better idea of how these two car halves will come together. The wheels are off the Mercedes in order to remove the front springs. We have to get the two halves level so that we can begin to the work of bringing them together. This will begin tomorrow.
