Untitled ($100 Condom bill old design) 2004 Acrylic on condoms on wooden panel Private Collection This series developed after observing how people view art. I notice that many people just "look" at artwork and do not take the time to really investigate what they are seeing. So armed with this insight, I wanted to create works that upon initial glance would seem rather innocent and direct, but upon further study this initial perception would be radically altered by the material the image was painted on top.
